Must admit they do seem to take a long time to answer, but what the hell its a freephone number

I've just had a quote off these and I can't beat it anywhere inc NUD!!

From what they have stated I can mod the car (within a broad limitation) without worring too much about increasing my premium.

Worth a note: Tesco's, sainsburys & lloyds direct, wouldn't even consider insuring the car due to the mods!!

So far with anything I have rang up for to add to my policy they have just put it on as general modification eg lowering springs are just down as a suspension modification and my alloys and tyres are down as a wheel and tyre modification.

I'm guessing LV don't do part for part if you do put a claim in...but if you keep your reciepts then you can prove the cost of any items you claim for and then at least you should get somewhere near the figure they cost you.

When I called HIC they were eally expensive but they insure my mates mk3 with a 170bhp 2.0 dropped in it and bodykit etc for peanuts and he's got trackday cover and the lot. but when I called the said they aren't very competative on newer cars.
