    lowering help plz

ive been on here a while now and now that ive got a rough idea of what i want i thought id post up my query

basically i want a sri turbo rear, irmscher back box, irmscher front splitter, and a set of 17's.

i really want to lower the car but when i look at you guys cars on here i think woah, i think u must live in a different place to me because where i live we have toooo many speed humps and the roads are shit anyway, i dont want to end up with bumpers being ripped of and that sorts.

Any advice on whats safe to lower it too keeping in mind my area and the fact that i often have the car full.

    cheers in advance guys.

Id say a 30-40mm drop would be ok mate. If the splitter/bumper you intend to put on the front is very deep and particulary mental, then steer towards a 30mm drop.

I know what you mean about the area we live in stage1

I have a 40mm drop on my MK3 but only really have probelms with the 3 single speed humps and then it usually only my undertray grounding

to top it all of they sent us letter saying there going to put them on my road because its just been made one way only

the sxi has a 20 drop as standard i think, maybe i should get the rims and bumpers on and then see what it looks like maybe try getting a camera and doing a poll or something

Go for the Eibach 50mm springs mate.

    They are just right.

Great handling, comfort etc, and with my irmscher kit they were fine over the bumpy stuff.

    Go for it!!!
