Does anyone know who makes these for the Z20 LET ?
i thought they didnt make any for em Pete? due to the plumbing
This is a puzzler I must say. :?
There is so much crap in the way of where one should go!!!!
Its a bugger!!! :x
The only ones ive seen are for LHD
You do have to move the fuse/relay box forward but the bar runs directly over the brake fluid reservoir cap which aint ideal
M1 GST had/has one fitted.
Pete - been searching for one high and low and come up with nothing. The Z20let is not catered for yet apparently, althought it will be soon
Could get a custom one made for the novelty, but as slim says, there is soo much crap in the way it could be difficult !
I have never seen one for the Z20LET either. I would have thought if one was made it would be on a fair few demo cars like Steinmetz, Mantzel and Postert all of which are turbos and none of those have got one.
Its a shame really as i thought mine improved the handling no end, one of the best things i brought for my G.
This is the only one that i think may fit the Let as it sits so high (a lot higher than mine) i am not sure who makes this one though.
What about the Astras with the 2.2L engines?
Are there any strut braces for these cars?
Holden/Opel/Vauxhall Astra SRi 2.2L (2001)
yeah you can Marty as the 2.2 has a fair bit of room at the rear of the engine bay. Again you will have the same problem as the other astra G's the strut brace will be covering the brake reservior and you will need to move the rely box a little as Ross said earlier.
anyone know where i can get a nice stainless one for my G ? it's a 1.4i 16v (eco) on an s plate.
If at first you don't succeed . . . . . . CHEAT !!!!!
Mine is gagging for a Strut Brace, as is alot of Turbos I would imagine. I reckon that one may fit Matt. If anyone knows who makes it then I'll get one and give it a go !
