I'm not 100% sure, i think you can have an NTL line. There is an online checker which should tell you if your line is capable.

to intstall a brand new BT line its £74.99 incl. VAT, if there is already a BT line at the property then its FREE to connect.

You can have Sky installed for £1 if you are a BT customer (as long as you take a world package for one month, then you can downgrade if you want)

S7en, im now a bit more intrested in the BT / SKY option becos the £75 a find a bit steep but hopefully there will be a line there already dont know yet , also sky installation was £100 which is just stupid i cud do it ! i was aware of the £1 option but thought u had to have the sky world package for min 12 mths not just 1 mth ?

NTL gave me great BB service, v fast too.

Unless you want all the 'sky' extra channels NTL is OK for TV, and you get a free phone line.

For new developments, having a 2 way fibre connected is better than a dish and BT line.
