    Break Fluid Change

    Hello,

How often do you change the brake fluids?
How much (roughly) does it cost, if done by the Dealer?
After reading some posts about bad experiences regarding
brake fluid changes... What should someone check to
    verify it was done properly?

    Cheers,
    Kakourdos

Vauxhall recommend changing the fliud every 2yrs.
Cost is dependent on where you stay and who you get to do the job.

If you're getting the job done by a Garage, try to mark the cap and bleed nipples on all the piston/calipers, so that you can check they have been disturbed. This is to make sure that all the system has been bled through with new fluid. Alternatively, buy a pressure bleeding kit and do your own like me

    nice

some garages just suck the fluid out of the fluid pot and replace it but that is no good because the fluid in the pipes attracts the water through your Rubber flexy hoses via getting hot and cold and lowers the boiling point plus age of the fluid wont help. most places around me would charge £20 and just ask them to watch them do it.
