    Lowering, HELP!

Hi, I need some advice. Is lowering a mk4 sxi 60mm on standard shocks a good idea? Is it possible? Is it dangerous? I want to go lower than 40mm, but cant afford a full dampers and springs kit at the mo. Please help me guys!

Arr cheers matt, i rang PVD and spoke to a guy there. They do some Eibach springs, which lower the car between 45-50mm. Will tghis be ok? Also, will my 17's scrub, with the car fully laden? I hope not. What about with 18's? Sorry bout all the questions, but im supposed to be buyin em next week! thanks.

You can get a decent full suspension kit for yours: springs & shocks @ 40mm, looks mean, there cheaper than coilovers, will last along time, and are easier to fit.

A full spring and shock kit gives you better ride quality, if you just change your springs and not the shocks, your dampers will be compressed more and you may experiance some jarring especially when the cars loaded.

    I think it'll look great
