    Max Alloy & Tyre Size..........

    I am wondering what is the max size of alloy and tyre size i can put on my astra 01 so it doesnt rub at all...............my car isnt lowered...........and am not going to get it done for a while yet.............

    anybody help me??

    cheers M40COO...............so i can easily put 18'-7.5 on my astra............what the max tyre size i can put on it.............im not going to lower the car so want can i put on it, 35/40/45?

    i already saw that but it didnt answer the question..........what max tyre before it rubs on a non lowered car!

    18''....These are big wheels that can be fitted to the astra with no mods as long as you get the size correct, if you dont you may have to roll the rear arches as room at the rear is tight the bigger the size wheel you go.
    Maximum width to fit with a 40mm drop is 8'' The offset's can vary though depending on width.
    8'' ET 45-49 With this width if you lower anymore than 40mm the car will need to have the rear arches rolled.
    7.5'' ET 42-49 This is the perfect size wheel and if you get the correct size you can drop it upto 60mm with no arch work.
    7'' ET 38-49 This wont really fill the arch that mush but does mean you can go a little lower on the offset.

    It does in a way answer your question.

    The max size without rubbing would be 7.5 x 18'' with 215/35/18's if you put 40 or 45's on then the rolling radius of the wheel will be bigger and make you speedo read inacuratly...if that does not bother you then i would go for 40's at most. (But you may find they rub a little)
