    sound cheers Nrj.

Good point on the airbag. The steering wheel controls, well my current ones dont work with my HU anyway, so not bothered there.

    Mark, will this work yeah??

I suppose its possible I might need one of those adapter thingies you use for aftermarket wheels?? ( it has a name, I'm stuck in an office and I cant think straight!! )

    Merci people!

yer, it'll work, and as NRJ says you wont need a Boss, as they all just fit the splines the same way!

Only thing you may want to look for is that the airbag contact patches are the same, most production Vauxs are but if you want to be cool, then try this out!

A VX220 steering wheel fits an astra, and looks trick, they are about 20mm smaller in Dia, and still have an aribag, no stereo controls though!

You will need the steering column side of the airbag contact ring if you want to fit a VX220 wheel, as the ring is smaller too!Trust me, they do look very good!! *

*(by saying this, I am not giving away any of my recent mod plans!!)

I remember asking about the vx220 wheel ages ago (on the original board) not everyone was sure it would fit! if it does I might try n get my one, but how much is the airbag gonna cost?

I would get a new one, or at least one where the airbag hasnt gone off!

The VX220 wheel comes with an airbag, I think retail is around £250!!

that aint too bad, considering you keep the airbag and dont need a boss, like you would with any other wheel
