As i found out when i put 17's on my car and my MOT came up it came apparent that the insides of my tyres were eroding more rapidly than they shud be doin so due to copious amounts of -ve camber angle!
After the service a bloke had to come and sort one of the nipples as break fluid was leaking, not the point, i asked him, as he was a vaux mechanic, cuz i sort the camber angle out on the standard susp, he said v little... so wot wud be the best way to counter this? Coilovers r way out my price range!
Also the same guy when asked bout lowerin he said summit about the wishbone... lol, enlighten me on this one, never heard about doin this before!! :?
