    How low?

I want to lower my car 40mm or 60mm what would be the best? I have 17 inch alloy wheels and my tyre profile is 205,45,17. Cheers for any info. Mark

Here is my car and my alloy wheels.

It depends on what you want out of the car.. do u want looks or performance.... I did the 30mm Eibach and it's as low as I want it for everyday driving. Of course it should be harder if I want to take it out on a racetrack more often, then I'd go lower coz of the stiffer spring rate. Practicality vs Vanity.... I'll pick practicality anyday... but that you've gotta ask yourself.

    . . . or the 60/40 ones, is it AVO ?

Mines down 35mm and it can be a problem with having the Rieger front.
I'm learning where I can and can't go

Mines a 35m drop on 17's, I aint got a front splitter like yours mark so mines well clear of any speed humps but I dont think I would risk more than a 40mm drop knowing what some of the speed humps are like in our areas!

Cheers for the replies , I have the Astra Coupe front bumper with Irmscher splitter on my car and I am always rubbing it on speed ramps to start with but I have loads of room on my arches so I want rid of the room but don't want to be hitting all those silly speed ramps, any ideas? Cheers. Mark

What about the possible group buy for FK coilovers.

That way you could wind it down until its suits you, then more so for track days

I like the sound of those coilovers, so that means I could adjust them to what is best for me .
