somit missin from this ere haynes manual?

Am I just being thick or is there no mention of removing and replacing the side sills in the Haynes manual? Seems to cover tons of stuff that I'll never do, but one thing I do need and its not there....Can't be due to being blindingly obvious cos they tell you stuff like how to take out the front grill :?

    Yes my friend there is.

And also, you are correct - I have also searched for this missing information and found nothing.

A word of warning though, they haven't changed their layout since....well since it first came out I think. Thus the nasty paper and black and white photos have a disturbing effect of making your car feel really, really old

Oh, they're also covering themselves by saying it doesn't include 2001+ models but doubt there have been many changes

If it ain't broke don't fix it!

The Haynes manuals' format is why they're so popular and have kept on selling.

You're right though, all the stuff in B&W makes your car look like a 1972 Austin Allegro Vanden Plas when you read it :?

I think that Haynes took a change in direction with their manuals a few years back. They used to be based on a complete strip down of a vehicle, but as the cars have got so complicated they have geared the books to more essential service and overhaul aspects.

haynes manual? Oh!! you mean 'the bible'! Theres quite a bit missing, like when i've looked for how to remove the airbox in-feed pipe thing, all it does its tell you to take it out, and not how!!

BTW steve, my mum used to have an alegro vanden plas, walnut fold out picnic trays for the rear passengers.....classy!
