    Juddering Car

Guys I really need your help and am quite worried about my car. Recently a suction pipe split and it was replaced with another one which seems ok now. The replacement pipe seemed a little thiner, but it fitted over the nozzles ok. Now recenty when driving the car it judders. You put your foot down and the car goes ok, but you can feel it juddering as if the fuel is being cut or something else. It does it when you are slowing down as well. It only happens a little bit then gets worse, then goes away untill you change in the next gear. It only really happens from 1st to 3rd. Im really worried it could cost a lot to fix. Is there any checks I can do before I take it to a garage? Could it be connected to this suction hose?
Also when reaching around 80mph the steering wheel starts shaking (Alot!) is this tracking? Has anybody had this problem?

Would be real greatful for any help.

stevenlcroucher - Im not sure mate. Apparently its a feeder pipe that recycles air....according to a mechanic up the road

not sure, dont however dismiss the coincidence that it could be your clutch!

You need to tell us in laymens terms where the pipe comes from and goes too

    Ok will try....

From the middle of the engine, the cover that goes over the head (Ecotec one) just above it to the right is a silver thing. Looks like a pump of some description, kind of round and silver with a cables coming from it which some go down behind the head of the engine....this is one of the actual pipes.
This was the pipe that has originally split and was replaced. It would seem whatever the problem is, is also effecting the revs....even out of gear the revs are going up and down...just beneath 1000. When in gear and no gas is applied (say for example in 1st) and u let the clutch out the car runs but its stuttering as such until u add more gas....it didnt used to do that. Sorry if its not explained properly mate! Also the cable that has replaced the previous split one is thiner at one end rather than the other. To give you an idea which which cable is it...if i disconnect it the engine dies. Apparently it recycles air and stuff.
