Been messing with the LEDs again!

A few more photos, been playing about with different LEDs while I continue to make up the footwell LED sets for everyone who asked for them!

Made a 45 LED array, which fitted in place of the boot light. Nice and bright white light now (this photo was taken in daylight and I used the flash on the camera!)

I've also took out the original blue off-the-shelf LED lamps in the maplights at the front out and fitted a couple of UV LEDs in, which should be good at night

I think I've run out of ideas now.

I tried the bootlight out tonight when I got in from work. Looks like a flourescent tube is under the shelf, but it's still 'stock'. Well chuffed

The boot light is a bit of a pain to build, there is a PCB and two ***** off resistors in place of the original bulb and holder springs.

The UV lights replace the original bulb with two LEDs, easy mod, just need to be gentle and ease the new ones in, so as not to damage them :?

Oh, and I have one more trick up my sleeve, but I'm gonna keep it my secret until the Demon Tweeks meet. It'll interest anyone with a subwoofer system and/or the original CDR 500 headunit

Keep them coming Steve and if you want to put together a for sale topic of what you sell i will pin it to the top of the fourm. Let me know when /if you do it.

Any "how to's" for this would be great as well.

Steve you ever do the old LED dashlight mod? Keep seeing em on E-Bay and I like the look of em but £18 for 4 bulb holders and LED's is too expensive for something it looks like I could make myself with a soldering iron. Maybe a how to with Maplin part numbers would help out a few peeps here.

    Odd

I've never bothered with the dash lights, apart from putting LEDs in the lighter one. My car has the white dials, so it might look over the top with blue or red LEDs
