Increased dump sound

I fitted a new BCS on the dump valve, since the dump valve is a lot louder than before.

Is it possible there was a leak with the old BCS, and the more noise is caused by better preasure?

Doesnt really drive much different still getting surging power, could this be a spark gap being wrong, its ok higher up the revs 3000k plus.

was it the solenoid at the rear or the front which you replaced, i did the front one and it livened up the drive but i had to remove my dump valve because it started leaking, i am still getting surging at around 2500-3000 revs and then it pulls again. i checked my plugs and they are fine. i may replace the solenoid at the rear next as i was told to replace both. have you still got your original dv connected and working.
