Engine temp settles just over 80 on engine temp, runs smooth as a nut.completely standard 4 now, except 4 bailey dump valve, courtaney f/mounted intercooler, and courtaney panel filter with derestricted airbox.

i did oil change and flush yesterday. put in 5w/40 and sounds sweet as a nut,was a bit tappety b4,but no longer.
i just wish delphi(vaux oil) would broaden their range, saves me buying non vaux oil and paying 30 squid for 5l

I just started using 5W30 semi-synth (Silkolene XTR) in my DTi too, runs a lot happier than on the 10W40 semi-synth, though there is a bit more oil consumption that I'm used to (losing about 200ml in a 1000 miles).

reason i didnt use 5w/30 as a bit thin, even though i get trade club and saves me a few bob using vaux(delphi)oil.espec buy 4 get 1 free.

I've used Mobil 1 in mine for the last 12 months with no problems.
