Z20LET problem

I have a 2002 Zaf GSi and its started to develop a little problem recently or at least I think it has.

When I put my foot down, the revs shoot round really quickly but the car doesn't gain speed to match the revs, it seems like the cars not really accelerating at all.

It happens in all gears, I think but not all the time, sometimes its fine and it pulls like it should do, other times it revs like mad but doesn't really go anywhere.

Any ideas?

it sound like the clutch is slipping to me mate, it could be a weak presure plate or just worn out clutch plate.

I assume its quite expensive to fix, its going in for an 80k service next week so thats just bumped the price up even more! :cry: :cry:
