thinking of buying one anygood ?easy to fit diy?are they loud when you are driving about dont want to upset locals or get a bad head after a :) trip out anywhere?
My hubby has just fitted me the Milltek for my Astra G SRi 2.2 n/a
It's a sports performance exhaust, so you gain BHP (which i'm sure your insurers will want to know) but it's definately improved the low/mid range response.
It's not loud at all, but a lovely rumble as you accelerate. I bought it from Courtney Sport.

alot of people on here have miltek exhaust so i am sure they will give you lots of opinions but personally i can not justify spending over £1000 on a full system. I am getting a custom one made for £600 in total and unlike other companys you have a choice of tip's etc to get the look you want.

I fitted mine myself mate. The only problem i had was with the cat to system flange bolts but apart from that its a well made system & fits really well.
IMO they sound really nice (not too loud but loud enough to know its there) & they dont drone like some systems do!

The Milltek I fitted to my Zaf was an excellent fit but if I'm to be honest, its a bit louder than I was expecting.
JonathanW, I saw you post on the main astra forums several days ago regarding some unhappiness regarding some work you had done. When are you going to spill the full beans. (sorry top change topic)

I'm actually working on a 'proper' full write up of my experiences rather than a brief post. Also, I think living with the car for a few weeks after the work gives a better overall view - there is also another appointment at the garage which I want to get out of the way first .... thanks for asking though
