View Full Version : Good Fault Code Reader
Just thought I would give you lot the low down on a Code Reader I just got.
http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_POCKETSCAN.html
Nice little bit of kit and doesnt need batterys, plug and go.
It will read / clear stored codes
reset the EML and turn it off
lists part codes stored (not enough to bring on the EML)
really happy with it but the best bet is you can get it alot cheaper than £94.95 :D

I cant see any listed at the moment but it only took 2 weeks to get here but I put that down to Christmas post. They even left me feedback stright after payment :) which doesnt happen alot lol
it total delivered to my door I only paid £32.65 massive saving over Gendan list price.

hi there mate
did you actually have a eml light on and then remove it, its just a few of these will give you other details but not actually turn off the light, if it did then nice one its about time theres one around that works!
just incase anyone is thinking of getting one the elm323 with software works on lots of other cars but not the vauxhall coupe turbo.
thanks
steve
Yep it will tell you the status of the light (just in the case the bulb is missing lol) and turn it off. I cant fault it for the money :D
Does it work on the ABS light too?
Never tried it but I am thinking no ??
