nope but using nitrous:twisted: ..

pretty simple to use a simple way is using a WOT switch and a water bottle such has for the windscreen washers etc a bit of wiring arming switch etc water pipe and should have yourself a water intercooler sprayer..

You'll need a much higher pressure pump than a windscreen washer on that's for sure.

I have a cooling mist Water Injection system on mine with a jet inside the boost pipe before the MAP sensor. To be honest there are little gains to be had if you are running a decent cooler anyway, but it does protect the pistons from melting on highly tuned cars.

What you need is a high pressure water pump, an additional water vessel (mine is mounted in the boot), jets or spray bar, and a boost control switch. The boost switch is mounted in the vacuum line and is adjustable, mine activates at 10psi - I've also wired this to an led int he dash so that I know when it is active.

The other option on the water vessel is to upgrade to a xenon oe one as they are larger and tap into that.

i have seen DIY kit done on scoobies using these bits! :) for the jets you can use the adjustable ones like you get on gardening spray bottles! ;) lol

the ULTIMATE kit would be using iced water in a seperate tank. you could also use this cold water for the water injection (or just use methanol!!! ;) ).

Also they wont let you use it on the 1/4 mile as it leaves fluid on the track

I have it on my coupe and to be honest there is little to be gained comapred to the cost.

I did it to use my water injection system because I found it had a negative effect when used for it's orginal purpose.

The best solution I belive is to inject water in to the air flow between the turbo and intercooler.

dam forgot to put that! lol

if you really want to get inlet temps down and help reduce det then look into methanol injection! it will reudce inlet temp much more than what water will! also you will see a gain just by injecting meth without a remap!! ;) with waterinjection you really need to set up a tune that requiers it to get the best out of it. if you just use it for the sake of it you will lose power.

thanks Chirs

You could also use NOS spray on the intercooler to cool it without leaving fluid's

you could, but N2O can be exspencive. but it would help on hot days at the 1/4mile! also you wouldn't need a tune with it.

but i have hgeard mixed reports on these. some of the Evo guy "recon" (no one ever could prove it) that the power gain was down to the engine taking in the N2O not the cooling effects!

thanks Chris.
