View Full Version : ABS & TC light - A new thought?
For all those people having ABS & TC light problems, I think I might have found a solution?
Mine was coming on randomly over the last couple of weeks and since fixing the actuator, they have not been a problem. Maybe coincidence, maybe not.
Might sound a bit far fetched, but AFM's turn on the TC light, or so I am led to believe?
Just my random thought of the day...

ive had mine on for a few weeks on and off i was led to believe it was the wheel sensor...what is the actuator??
Its on the turbo, but I suppose its not entirely feasable, only turbo cars have actuators.
lots if different factors can effect the light tbh
Yeah. It was just a random thought. So you think it was more coincidence?
no you could be right
just with the other guy saying about the wheel sensor ;)
Mine was very fickle.
Turn the car on from cold and they would come on. Switch it off, then restart and they would be off!
Turn the headlights on within 1 minute of starting the engine and they would come on. Restarting would sometimes solve it, but not always.
They usually come on on my car when I turn on the headlights (HID's). Its a new battery, the alternator is giving enough power etc.
Had the passenger side hub replaced and am needing to do the drivers side sometime too.
Its just funny how it all of a sudden stopped happening when I sorted the actuator! :o

The TC and management light are used to display a mulitude of different faults.
