It can be done, but why would you want to put a 12 year old gear box in a modern car? They are heavy and unreliable (due to age). What is wrong with the F23 you have already? If you really want that 6th gear, look into fitting an M32 or an F40.

F40 doesn't fit the old block design.
It fits the 2.2 Alloy block (Z20NET), and the 1.9/3.0 Diesels.
I thought you need the f40 internals in the m32 caseing ? Might be wrong.
