today i thought id have a fiddle with the actuator to try and reclaim some boost and genrally hold it better. up until now i was gettin rather dismal boost, wouldnt hold over 0.5bar in any gear, and i got bugger all overboost either.

i wound the nuts up so i had about 9-10 threads showing, compared to the original 4-5 threads. it now boosts to 0.8bar in the higher gears from low revs, and holds around 0.6. on the whole im impressed by how its performing now, you put your foot down and itl accelerate with a nice push. theres doesnt seem to be a boost dip now either at 4.5k like there used to be.

That sounds about right for a standard mapped car mate, its amazing what a bit of a twiddle can do:lol:

Anybody know where to get the pressure testing tool from for the actuator?

It's a hand pump type thing with a gauge on it? pump it up and it records the pressure that the actuator opens at?

not terribly accurate for measuring a critically tuned component, on a highly tuned hybrid turbo though is it?
