I no this might be a silly question as il partly answer it myself, but what is the best way to obtain good torque figures? I no to get torque you need Bhp but it seems strange that my figures,i have higher Bhp than torque were as everyone else is the other way round,is it just my car or the set up?

I think it will depend a lot on the map you have and what other mods.

If you post a list of what you have done someone may be able to make some suggestions :)

You need to bring the charge temp down Steve - i.e. bigger intercooloer/WI/Intercooler spray etc. - this will increase your torque but not necessarily your bhp

Try turbobits mate - I've got a few bits from them and they are pretty good service wise.

Or try one of these? cheap way to cool your inlet temps......

power is a derivative of torque, therefore the more torque u produce and at which point in the rev range it happens will determine overall power. the trick is to keep hold of the torque throughout the rev range. u want it to come in nice and low, but hold it til high rpm's. a large factor in this, si the ability of thr turbo to flow the sufficent air, which from what ive seen seems to be the K04's biggest problem.

You need good airflow. Headworks and a large exhaust is good for torque, but may impact on torque at higher revs, ie. dropping the bhp slightly.
