Over the past few weeks I have noticed that my car isn't boosting properly. Where as before it would boost at 1.3 bar, its now only making 1.0bar.

At first my thought was uh oh the turbo;s F@cked, hybrid here we come.

Tonight I thought I would check the DV as it also makes a poor excuse of a dump  No jokes please

On idle the Dump valve is half open as you can see the spring inside surely this isnt right, is it a case of the DV is knackered and needs replacing or refurbing ie new spring.

Help please

FYI Its the Bailey DV26 Type D

Thanks

Still got the spring but not the vacum pipe that goes round the engine bay.
Can anyone get a part number for this ?? Dannysport

Will give that a go I think, Its going in for its service on Tuesday so might speak to a mate a the dealers to do it for me

Replace the vacuum pipe with afew meters of the small ID samco tubing. Cheaper and easier to use !

I assume we're talking overboost here ??? 1.3 bar is like 18psi - surely not going to hold that on the tiddly turbo for long !
