Has anyone got or using power capacitors with there ice, if so are they just showpiece or do they make a difference????
Mine stops the lights going dim on big bass notes, but it's mainly for show.
I originally got my Brax intelligent cap when I was running a 1.1Kw soundsystem in my old Nova, just to stop the sub amps cutting out when the bass kicked.
I've now got it on my single sub 300w system and it is good for the reason Mark said, it stop the amp power suck from the bass notes, but after playing the same system with the cap disconnected (I wanted to sell it) it does make a difference to the clarity of the bass on more musical stuff
So I would recommend buying on.
definately a must espacially if you got 2 amps connect the cap to the amp driving the sub and you'll see the difference
