What boost is regals phase 2

What boost does regals phase 2 run at???

I`ve got phase 3 and been rolling roaded at 272bhp and 315ft/lb running 15psi

Phase 2 will hold around 14psi, just under 1 bar of pressure. This is the max for a standard turbo. You will find it tails off after about 5500rpm, but thats cause it runs out of puff.

IT can overboost to 18psi, but wont hold that :cry:

Can i just swap turbo's say for a Garret T25 :) (if there is room) :mrgreen:

I saw on cardomain, that some guy had swaped out the turbo with a T5 Garret :shock: All depends on how much boost you run i guess, pistons in the astra arent forged so i wouldn't personally run anything higer then 15 psi.

I have a funny one for you all.

I have a blitz turbo timer with a built in boost gauge the reading is KPA

I have a peak boost of 0.88hkPa - now - I scoured the web and cannot find this exact unit to do a proper conversion but by my approximation
h = Hecto or 10 to the power 2
KPA

If i convert to psi - i get 12.72psi - can this be right??

I'm running standard map with
Courtenay front pipe
Derestricted Airbox with K&N Panel Filter and Vectra C Intake.
Iridium Spark Plugs

am i going mad?

thats peak boost not constant. That peak will read about the over boost aswell, especially with the front pipe on
