What size hose do you use for the Top Radiator to Expansion Tank?

Most other hoses for the mod are 8mm, but the top radiator one seems to be like 11mm or around that size.

Do you use 11mm, then get a jubilee clip that will clamp tight at the expansion tank end (8mm)?

Also, do you need proper braided silicone hoses?
I got some from Halfords that didn't specify what they are for, on the website or on the pack, & are not braided, but they look like vacuum/breather hoses, so no good for coolant I think.

I just bought the kit from Vauxhall..

its a pre formed hose, its the same size as the 1 you take off that goes to the turbo top of my head at least 10 mm bore

as for the other hose as long as it heater pipe which is re inforced as it under pressure

I have most of the pipe work in the garge for the cooling mod i think will take a look for you
