View Full Version : Fitted my boost gauge
I have now fitted my boost gauge on my Gsi Turbo. I just want to know if the needle looks like it's in the right place, I would have thought it started on 0. I have a new surround coming soon for my gauges, the one in the pic is a temp one lol. From what I can make out of my boost gauge it goes up to 9 psi when driving, some times it's lower if I am driving it normal.

Gauge should sit on 0 when its off, and then in vac when idling, its higher than normal but then the gauge is out so to be expected
Strange, can I adjust it anyway? Anything else that can make it sit off 0

What should the boost gauge sit at when idleing? On a standard map?

mine vacuums at 20 on idle and sits at o with engine off so id say your gauge is dodgy
Just been out and checked it again and it's not far off 20. It won't go back to 0 though. I might get a Stack gauge tomorrow...
Sitting near 20 on idle
