Sorry for askin so many questions on here!!

I have just purchased ALOT of stuff for ma red gsi turbo. And one of the purchases was a viper induction kit. But after lookin at the engine bay pic thread a want the veccy c set up.

Does it make alot of difference and could a use ma viper and have a vented wing for it???? :confused: Or am a better gettin a panel filter and the full veccy c set up or keepin the over the top inlet and usein the viper???????

Its not a veccy c set up am mean the 2.2 or the 1.9cdti set up oooopppsss

nothin really just wondered if it would benefit more from the 1.9cdti or 2.2 set up.:)

Any of the options above are better than original setup.
Obvious signs are different turbo sounds.
Not to noticeable on power gains.
Its what you modify aswell, such as exhaust etc. When power gains improve.

Av bought the CS4 kit so am lookin for power gains more than anything. I do like the look of the 2.2 set up though.Hmmm might have to sell the viper lol :(

Whats putting you off using the Viper setup?

On the turbo engine using a closed set up like the viper you get a 180 degree bend which isnt ideal for airflow.

thats where I was maybe thinkin of gettin the wings louvered (cant spell) and havin the pipe for the viper goin to it.

But ad probaly get a better look with a 2.2 or cdti box in there eh.:confused:

I have the 1.9 set up as its ideal to enlarge to the VXR 80mm AFM at a later date and also moves the AFM further away than the 2.2 set up.

U must get a louder turbo noise with the 2.2 and cdti set up eh. Al stick with the standard set up just now and c what its like :D
