Turbo whistle on spool up.

Hi all,

how many of you can hear your turbo spin?

I ask because since fitting my pipework on my intercooler see here (http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showthread.php?t=169864), I can hear the turbo much more than before!

I'm pretty sure there are no leaks in the setup too. It's a pretty cool noise don't get me wrong but was wondering if anyone else can hear it in their LET'd astra.

I get some spool up noise. But thats only through my airfilter me thinks. Sounds :cool:

I have more noise since changing to a 1.9 Air Box!

I can sometimes hear it in mine. K+N filter made it louder than standard though.

im not to sure but i'll give the 'itle black vac box' a look at over the weekend see if any them pipes come off is it 3 pipes connected to the box or just 2?

Mine whoooshes in a very strange way since it was rebuilt ... old calibra c20let whistled with a very high pitch sound ... z20let one whooshes in a low pitch sound ... almost as if its broken :redface: . Gauge showes normal boost levels tho

mines whistles and wooshes. its quite loud. it is a vxr turbo though.

mines quite high pitched but more of a whooosh than a vistle...
hey but some might say its more of a vistle than a voooosh....
