View Full Version : What Map can I go For with current mods..
these remaps got me thinking now...i badly want a map, but just dont know if I should...
Im currently running z20let turbo with 18k on the turbo, iridium plugs, 2.2 airbox bod, pre cat, sport cat on friday with blue flame exhaust, and front mount intercooler...not sure if i should go for a map by regal, and if so, which map should i go for, and what type of power I will be looking at including torque and bhp?

Stage 2 or 3 with that tbh. Need the full exhaust for either though imo
Regals (EDS) maps are available from loads of places around the UK or handheld unit
Courteney ones you need to go to them
BSR via LMF is hand held jobbie
Superchips you can get hand held too
Defiantly stage2 as you need the vxr turbo for stage3 not sure on power tho.. maybe 250ish
full exhaust system? this is the bit im getting lil confused at because, i have got the pre cat in, then if got the next section with cat which is a very good cat etc, then im getting stainless steel 2.5inch bore build straight from cat to back box...that will have in a performance centre box as well...will i need to ugrade my full system from precat right to backbox before i consider any maps?
midpoint did advise me stage 2...i might as well wait till january, then do vxr turbo and remap all at once then...at stage 3 ill need to change injectors etc as well wont I?

I would go for a stage 2 with that spec
Both run VXR Turbo's
stage 3 runs std Z20LET injectors
3.5 runs VXR injectors and VXR AFM

No, what you have will be fine mate,
Pre-cat replacment, sports cat, and a Blueflame Cat back is a full system change.
oh thanks lads...will look to get that sorted then shortly...anyone know where i can get decent sports cat from though?
most custom exhuast places should be able to make you one up.
i have a miltek one on mine.
