would it be ok to use this software without the intercooler fitted and the add the cooler later?

Probably not, too much boost causing charge temperatures that are too high, not good for the engine.
I thought you already had an FMIC?

Not too sure to be honest - I personally can't see why not as it's a generic map not specifically set up to your actual car at the time it's put on... Obviously you'll get less of a gain though as the inlet temps are higher than they should be

You may get away with ph2 at this time of year with ambient temperatures being so much lower than in the summer but I personally wouldn't want to chance it, Zlets are a bit pricey to replace :(

Yeah true mate, the extra heat might do damage, all depends on how you drive it though, if you're gonna rag the pants off it before getting a better cooler then yeah you are going to do damage - wasn't sure how long you were talking until you got a better cooler?
I remember Karen at regal saying that their SMIC are good for upto 350bhp so surely the standard cooler could cope with phase 2 if not ragged?
Zlets are a bit pricey to replace :(
but leh's are getting more available:D

So I take it you are gonna get the VXR turbo on though before the remap or you'll surely kill the Zlet one
if there is a risk of damage i'd either not get the map done or drive like granny!
i'd get a cooler tomorrow if it came with the fitting kit and wasn't £549

why not just have phase 1 and when you've got the intercooler fitted go back for phase 2

you don't mate you get free sortware upgrades. if you have phase 1 its free to go back and have phase 2-3

You won't have to pay for the map twice from Regal you just pay a little bit extra. With Thorney they upgrade for free. Not sure what Courtenay charge.

Oh maybe it weren't you then?? looked identical to your car mate even with the morettes and tints?? Was 8.50am going to Stirchley - you have a double in Telford then!! :D

i know there is another one in telford some where but i didn't think it had morette's might have changed since i last seen it.
really tempted on the remaps just aint got the money at the moment:mad:
i'll also have a new set of wheels saturday a set of kei force 10s:D
