hi i was wondering if i could get some advise.i have a mk5 astra turbo 170 the engine managment light on and ids also traction control light is on took it to garage and they said i would need mass airflow meter and a new ecu,i want to up the bhp so what ecu could i use and can i turn up the turbo:redface:
Hey, the only ecu you want is the stock ecu.
It's very sophisticated and allows complex maps (even ones that change depending on the sports button) which can be loaded easily via the port under the handbrake. See Regal or Courtenay for these.

Just try fitting a new AFM/MAF before splashimg out on a new ECU. it may cure the problem itself.
