So I originally got the ECU light on, took it to Nova Tec who put it through their OBII reader and it said o2 sensor, lambda, so they cleared the faults and told me to replace the lambda.

After they cleared the fault maybe 2 days later the spanner light flickered on and off, then the car went in to limp mode and the spanner was on 80% of the time, normally when applying power.

We have put it through the reader again and no fault codes.

We thought it was maybe the service light so reset that, still comes back on and still in limp mode.

So now I am stumped, no faults but spanner and limp mode?

I know another thread is running but my circumstances are different.

Anyone shed any light????

if your using just a obd2 reader, then it doesnt regonise all fault codes, i had this prob with my coupe, obd2 said i had one fault, tech 2 showed me i had 3,another time, obd2 said no faults, there was a fault that was found by tech 2, lol i cant remember faults for life of me though

Found out, from Billing when it rained and there were lakes in the road, water got in to the boost pressure valve wiring loom and was causing a short, dried it out and walla!!

Big thanks to GeordieBandit for his home ECU fault reading tip, saved me a trip to a tech 2
