Z20LET Tank Vent Valve.

Hi,

Converting my Corsa-C Z18XE to Z20LET

Looking into the Car, the Corsa-C doesnt have a return line, now im sure the Z18XE pump can be used with the Z20LET as my pump looks identical to a friends pump, his car is a Corsa-C Z20LET was previously a Z18XE.

Now, on the car you have a FEED, and the other is connected to the vent valve.

On the Z20LET, the Vent connects to the TB, and where else?

The Fuelpump doesnt have 3 nozzles on it does it?

Only reason im asking is, i havent had time to see him and check where his lines are going, but when i looked before he has 3 lines under the car, i assume FEED, RETURN, VENT.

Any idea's on this one?

Where does the Z20LET's vent hoses goto, the TB and where else?

is the other 1 not the return ? tbh i aint had a look but experiance tells me you have 1 feed to fuel rail 1 return from fuel pressure reg and a vent to atmosphere on tank

You dont vent to atm, the idea is that petrol that vaporises is sucked into the TB and burned during combustion, youd have a third connection on the pump (the highest point of the tank), where theres never any petrol, or onto the tank directly.

tanks always use to vented to atmosphere so guess things change

there is a carbon canister under the drivers wing of most cars. The small pipe on the rear of the tank near the main filler pipe connects to this. The pipe from the canister then goes to the inlet manifold
