Stainless Steel Heatshield Fitted

I was given the opportunity to get a stainless steel heatshield from rustyarchs and ive managed to get it fitted so thought i would post some pics,

first pic of engine bay standard:

tried to show the word turbo that was engraved on it (you can see it just barely as the flash from the camera hides it):

for thos who dont know or havent fitted one, its very easy just undo the bolts holding the metal rail/pipe thats running above the manifold.
Then just slide the heat shield behind the hangers then bolt backup. simple

It may look a bit out of place in my "bay" but thought id show how much it stands out. Any comments appreciated.

A good simple and effective mod. A word of advise though, when removing your crossover pipe, you should always cover the turbo inlet with something or stuff a rag into the pipe - if you ever drop anything down there you will be cursing!

my car is still in hibernation from the winter so no battery in it. i now realise why i couldnt show the wording of turbo as i was taking pics in the dark duh lol. i should of taken them in the light

i do cover the inlet with an old rag but i couldnt take pictures with the rag in place it would steal the show! :lol:
