Ive noticed that the small storage area above the ash tray could probably house a head unit, is it possible to run both a cassette head unit in that location and a cd unit in the origonal location? how would they be hooked up? will this cause problems?
Yes it is possible to put another unit in that space as I have my DVD unit in there now :D I ended up using the wiring that was just hanging about under the small panel under the ash tray bit.
I am going to be doing this on mine, but I will be using a Din size DVD player.
All you will need for this is a 12V positive and an earth.
So these could be taken from Cig lighter etc..
I found 3 connectors attatched underneath the small panel, that is supposed to be used for the heated seats, traction control and something else on the higher spec models. I ended up using a connector as a power source for the DVD unit.

I actually found it easier to mount a head unit with all the cables behind it in the bottom slot! Got a flip-out TV in the top one now...
