OK, I'm in the market for a new (uprated) clutch for my Zafira GSi. Can the people here with various phases on thier cars that have had new clutches fitted please let know know what ones they have.

I've looked into both Courtenays, don't know what makes they use, although someone said it's a Calibra's clutch. I've also talked via email to John at Thorneys, he has recommended a Sachs Organic if I want to retain driveability, or Sintered which is a bit more severe on the uptake. Regal still haven't got back to me  . I've also heard that Helix do a clutch, but don't know anyone who sell them. If anyone has any recommendations or suggestions, I'd appreciate the input, thanks,

A.

i have a paddle clutch that regal sell it is good but if you speak to ross (daddygsicool) he will tell you what is like in his zafira as i have a astra, the only thing i would say is if you have more than 280 foot pounds of torque then you will still reck it as ross has been through one and i am going to need one soon

Thanks, I'm on a standard map at the moment, but will be going to a phase 1 (maybe phase 2) after the new clutch is fitted, so not too sure how much torque that is. Spoke to Regal today, they seem to recommend their LUK Organic clutch, retains the on road driveability which is what I need as the wife will need to drive it occasionally.
