would it take much more time to type ing? ;)
fir phase 1 you dont need a different IC, but there are alot of choices, the courtneay etc ones will be better but cost alot more, maybe better looking at a cheaper universal intercooler then spending the money you save on an exhaust or something?
If your on stage 1 you don't need a intercooler and it won't make much difference until you get another remap to take you to stage 2 then you will feel a big difference.
When i fitted my intercooler before getting a remap i didn't feel any performance difference at all. it was only when Thorney remapped it that i had the massive difference.
aint got 2 star change in all bit 2 make it fit hav i ?
What does that say/mean?
There are lots of choices, and will be better for the engine and performance. Courtenay claim a 15-18bhp gain from theirs (maybe a bit optimistic:confused:)

its got a vxr turbo on also
its got a vxr turbo on also
im which case then fitting any larger intercooler then getting phase 3 (iirc) would be the best bet, a more expensive IC will im sure be better, but a cheaper one could allow the ph3 remap to be doen for nearly the same price and will have much higher gains,
all personal preference and to your budget,
