does anyone know what the ticking noise is that comes from the rear left of the engine bay on the astra coupe turbo ? this was mentioned on VBOC but the site was closed for a couple of weeks and now all the topics have gone.
Is it the carbon cannister solenoid? I don't have a turbo but my 1.6's solenoid may as well have a frickin fog horn its so loud my car sounds like diesel :(
It's most likely the carbon canister solenoid valve - it's clipped to the bak of the air box
clicking is perfectly normal
Yeah it does that on mine aswell. On my old 1.6 it was alot louder!. Was really annoying:mad:
will have to check that, it's doing my head in!
