my mate has just ordered his vxr and wants to know which d/v is best?

he has been told the courtenay one is best, is this true?

'best' for what ... noise, fitting, general suitability ..

If I wanted one, I would choose the courtenay one, as it's tried and tested.

Probably - but he doesn't have to go to Courtenays for it.

It might save him a few squids if he shops around. It's a Bailleys DV-26 twin piston dump valve.

Money's money at the end of the day.

Just don't forget the fitting kit.

PS, I don't have anything against Courtenays, I've spent plenty of money there previously!!
