Warning lights

Hey mates!!

After 6 weeks of tampering with the boost sensor of the LER, I got this warning light on the dash.

The actual yellow "engine" light on the speedometer is NOT on (I mean this light: http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/3756/enginelightbk6.jpg (http://imageshack.us))

I have a schedule with the deale ron saturday, to plug the TECH 2, but before taht I'd like to hear your opinions.

I guess that if the ECM registered a boost sensor fault, wastegate solenoid or AFM, I would get the engine light also, Am I right?

Is this light also linked to the inmobiliser??

If you have not had the car remapped then the chances you have changed the actuator setting and the boost has gone out of range and the management system has thrown the light on as a result.

Mornign mates!

I took the car to the dealer today but the light was off... They couldn't find a code but they told that this light is only related to the inmobilser, and ahs nothing to do wiith the engine..

Are you agree??

not only the immobilisor but yer it does come on wiv a prob wiv it i think your find k3fus is correct
