I have also had my eye on these, they look exactly the same as the lmf / regal / courtenay pre cat just cant understand the price difference. Think i mite just bite the bullet and go for it.....
well...cant be any worse than the milltek ones that keep cracking !
Not got one yet but I am getting one when I get back from the Falklands as well as a cat back made by them too.
I hope they honour the price they quoted on the email whn I enquired about them, especially as I told them I wasn't going to be back until October too!

be careful. They are not all the same. I looked at the adverts and went wow look at that price too. A new car is coming and I need a precat for it. If you look at the picture at the top of this post and the one below you will see that the top one has a spun or turned top that is directly welded onto the bend below it. There is a huge step (or at least it looks like that) and this will cuase massive local turbulence and so little, no or even a drop in performance. The ones from the other tuners have graduated internal shaping. This is where most of the performance gain is gotten from. remember the saying, "buy cheap, buy twice"
If anyone has a photo looking down into this part can they supply it please? I may be mistaken but this part looks like it will flow badly

It's a fair point I 'spose, but you are only talking the difference of 15mm in the length of the taper. Really the main difference between a precat and a precat replacement pipe is the fact that there isn't a chuffing great catylitic converter with a pipe that expands out to accomodate it and then goes back down to 2.5"
I did get one made for my old SRi turbo, using the original flange and 3 bolt adaptor from my existing precat. They used 2 mandrel bends, the first at 3" and the second at 2.5" by using a spreader and a nipper to get the 2 pipes the same diameter at the joint. It was a top bit of work with the only downside being the need to destroy the old precat to get the flanges off it. I'm tempted to get myself a second hand precat just for the flanges and get another one! sorted for the VXR!
It cost about £80 to get done by the powerflow place between Lincoln and Market Rasen.
went there on saturday for a system to made up for a V6 corsa that i've just finish'd and i've got to say the system is top notch can't complain at all. I had in my mind to ask them about 1 but forgot all about it when they ask'd us to come out and look at the system for the Corsa
Where is that from then??
Mines a LMF pipe.....

I know you can't see it as well but its not as angled as the one above.... Like Andy says the one above looks bad for flow....
