View Full Version : Samco hoses on Z20LET
Hi guys,
i just fitted the 3 samco hoses that come from airbox to crossover pipe and bottom of crossover pipe and there was an oil substance in the bottom crossover one. is this normal? any ideas whats up with it?

just a bit of oil from the turbo thats all

thats cheap were are they from?
i also had the oil on that bit thought it was oil off my new pannel filter am i wrong?
it will will be oil from the breather comeing from the back of the rocker cover in to the cross-over pipe, if than makes sense to read lol

Heres a pic of my hoses etc.
Got mine from Regal they cost alot more than yours.

it will will be oil from the breather comeing from the back of the rocker cover in to the cross-over pipe, if than makes sense to read lol
jimbo's correct, if you unbolt and lift the crossover you'll see the breather attached under it.

They are from me! hense my earlier post :rolleyes:
I got em from SXi Stu and he got em from somebody on the sight who just like me, didnt want em anymore (neither of us used them by the way Dan);)
Try ebay Wayne or regal do em brand new for £90

yeah i know you can get them from regal 4 £90 but i was being cheap if i could have got them half price then i would;)

keep a look out here or other vauxhall or astra forums like mig/AON etc for stuff for sale, there were a set on ebay a week ago that went for £60 and there's currently a job lot of engine bling, *edit* may have ended as I cant find the link.
oh well
