I was poking around in, out, and under the car the other day. Had the door open and turned the ignition on to stop that annoying warning beeper. Then went back under the bonnet for something, and could hear what sounded like an electric motor, coming from the right hand side of the head, kinda above the gear box. I could alsop hear water flowing about.
So does the ZLET have some kind of water pumping device that works with the ignition on, but without the engine runing?
If not, what could i hear?

Yes there is a pump, heard mine running for the first time the other day funnily enough.
Its easy to spot from under the car.

I asked the same question myself a while back here

clicky coolant circulation after engine stopped (http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showthread.php?t=95051) (http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/images_pb/misc/multipage.gif 1 (http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showthread.php?t=95051) 2 (http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showthread.php?t=95051&page=2))
