hi just brought a mk4 gsi turbo and was wondering which would be the best sport cat? i already have a pre cat pipe and cat back milltek exhaust on.
would there be any benifit paying the extra money for a milltek or just go for a regal or courtenay 1?
The benifit of the milltek is the bore of the pipe and the cat itself... It will make the system 2.5" throughout with the milltek. The other pipes are slightly restrictive. Also the milltek uses an expensive motorsport cat, the others are a cheap import weld on type...
miltek m8 no hesitation on that 1

when i was talking to regal and dap developments both of them said i wouldn't need a sports cat and i'm going to be running close to 300 bhp so save your money and put it towards something else mate

where is your source of info for this statement?

Everywhere on the net.... If you pay less for a cat they cut back somewhere. Cats have lots of exotic metals in, good ones cost money. You can cut back on these but they wont work as well or last as long......
Phone courtenay and ask them why they like the milltek cats....

gave them a call and they say no delivery until June week 2 :(
Been undecided about a sports cat for 2 years and this thread finally pushed me to buy one. Can't get it in time for PV

don't get me started on this. As an engineer I don't just look at the number of cells but all the factors. Anyway after ringing around I can get the CAT locally for under £400. Man says it may be here in the morning too :D so as long as the rain holds out it will be fitted tomorrow
