Im guna do the best i can to discribe a part that i need without having any idea what it is and im hoping someone will pick up the laymans terms...for everything im guna use....

when your looking at the engine bay (battery on right) there are 2 small pipes that come out the back of the rocker that you cant see untill you remove the flat (powdercoated i think it is) airpipe that goes over the top, 1 of them goes to the underneath of the flat air pipe (now we dont need that one) the smaller in radious of the two goes further to the back a little towards the bulkhead and joins what can only be discribed as small fuel fiter looking thing/yoyo with 2 little plastic tubes coming out of either side where the little pipes either side sit into....the little plastic yoyo little thing is what i need.....

......that discribing hurt my head, please help cos i dont want to say that to the guy at parts in the local vx....he will laugh at me.

its a one way valve mate mine was also broke

is it broke on the pipe that goes to the rocker cover or the throttle body housing (as you will probably need to replace the pipe too as plastic end will be stuck into it)

it broke into the pipe that goes into the rocker cover but that pip is fine cos i took that off and cleaned it out and it looks fine with no splits.

the only reason i had that off is cos the L shapped pipe that goes into the flat air pipe needed replacing cos it had a split on the inside edge of the corner.

would those two problems cause me to have me to have an oil leak from that area?

what effect would the no return valve thingy have on the way the car ran?

Yeah the rocker breathers do tend to be oily

if you can get away without needing new pipes then get a new no return valve thingy and jobs a gooden, no more oil squirty in that region (in theory)

I had an invoice for it somewhere but cant find it to tell you how much it was.

Shouldnt really affect how car runs, apart from cold starts (tis down on the calibra (similar breather setup) as a throttle body warmer kinda thing)

so with that and the other pipe that comes out of rocker cover gone at the same time you would think enough oil would come out to leak enough to drip to the floor?

...and they call this the tech section, dont think i used the proper word once in any of them posts lol

Hmmm wouldnt say that much oil no, mine was only messy in the area around the throttle body, but worth cleaning the region up replacing said parts n see how it goes

If the one way valve breaks then the rocker cover gasket will blow as the one way prevents it from being over pressured.
