hi peeps,
fitting my bailey dump valve tomoz and need a reasuring word from some people in the know!!!!!
i know to keep the standard one connected an to connect the new one to the fuel regulator line but..............where the hell is it????
i just need some one to say its ok as im scared il wreck my pride and joy!!!!!:redface:

its under the x over pipe mate take that off your see it top left hand side of the head

rite so i take that off an il see it!!!! the thing thats worryin me is how do i know which pipe to cut an connect it too???

u dont cut into it,you should hava a t piece to connect to fuel pressure regulator line.its on top left of engine,behind airbox next to your fuel rail line.:D
eh i just cut the vacume pipe connected the T-peice and fitted the non return valve and that was it, was i wrong as well then??

i thought u had to cut the fuel reg line??????
i had a look at the frl and there are t pieces everywhere an ive not even touched it yet!!!!!!
im well naffed off....... i thought this was gonna be relatively easy to do!!!!!
take of the x over pipe
locate the frl
cut into ur power pipe fit dv
then conect th dv to th frl with some tubing and a small t piece!!!!!
has anyone got any pics iff possible
ive tried doin a search but no joy!!!!!

will take some pics of mine for you but mine has a boost guage and a non return valve on there will get one for you in about 10 mins

check out this page and theres a pic halfway down which shows the fuel reg line which has been teed into to fit a hks valve.

i hope this helps, there is also a page on fitting the dump valve but no pics on where the fuel reg line is.

it still doesnt make sense!!!!!!! in the picture there is a really thin pipe goin into a slightly bigger one if u know wat i mean!!!!!
i was under the impresion u cut the line a t piece into it!!!!! but how do i get a 3mm t piece into the little thin line and into the bigger one????
its doin my head in, ive got my dump valve say here waitin to be fitted!!!!!!
pls help
buy some 3mm samco hosing as it will allow the entry of the 3mm T-peice and the original vacum pipe and then cut a small lengths and to it that way

I'd step away from it personally, there is so many threads about fitting a DV it would take you weeks to read them all.
