hi there people, jus got a let astra yesterday and it covered a 300mile trip back to mine with no trouble atall. So today it was nice weather and i decided that i would try and straighten our the intrcooler behind the bumper.
one the grill bumper etc was off i noticed a wire had been cut/snapped but wasnt sure iff it had been done as i was removing the bumper off it was like that before.
when we took the car for a spin after with the wires cut as soon as the car came on boost it started missing and spluttering and the engine management lught came on so i connected the wire back together and it was driving fine but evry now and then the em light flashes once. is this because it has stored the code to the ecu?? it dosent stay on but just briefly flashes??
ps how would i clear the code from the ecu after the fault was fixed?? i tried the paperclip after i reconnectted the wires but no faults showed up??
